AC伺服控制马达的原理是检测出随着旋转而时刻变化的旋转位置,向线圈各相通入与磁极对应的电流。

由于磁极随旋转改变,流入的电流也发生变化,因此从结果上来看流入各相的电流为交流性的电流,大概就是这个原因而称其为AC伺服电机。

但是向该电机直接施加交流电压并不能使其旋转。DC伺服电机为保持持续旋转需要切换电流方向的电刷,而AC伺服电机则不需要。
